Android Garmin Connect - Edit Exercise on strenght activity !!!

I have the same problem since version 5.9 of the Connect app for Android. After clicking the "Edit" button to change the exercise type, the app freezes for a moment and then closes. Version 5.9.1 the same. I reported the problem to Garmin support (via e-mail). However, there is no answer from Garmin.

I'm also now on version 5.9.1. I'm trying to replicate this issue and I'm not seeing the problem. Opening a strength training activity, clicking edit. 

Perhaps try reinstalling the app. Then if still an issue, contact Garmin Support directly via phone or chat, which will vary depending on your region.

Possibly, you need to build up a history of entered exercises.

I was able to duplicate your issue using a different browser and a different Garmin account where I have never used Garmin Connect. I imported a past strength workout then tried to edit an exercise. There were no recent exercises.

I then edited 1 exercise and saved the activity. I went back and edited an exercise. Then there was a recent history, which included the one I just added.

I had a similar problem, but on iOS. The problem ended up being the "Rest" steps that had "No Target." I changed the "Rest" steps to have a "Lap Button Press" target and that fixed it.

yes you're right, I didn't use this before.

I have exactly the same issue - I just did my first weight training in a while, wanted to edit it to provide correct names of exercises and got a white screen and a redirection to the screen from which I came to the activity (I tested few ways of getting to the activity). I tried rebooting my device and updating the app but the outcome is the same.

Please contact Garmin Support. Perhaps more reports of this issue will speed up a fix.
