Garmin Pay -. New account

Every time I enter/open Garmin Pay on my Android phone, I receive the message below - and have to start all over adding Credit Cards.

"As a security precaution, the Garmin Pay wallet on your Forerunner 955 has been deleted. This is due to the device being removed from your account or added to another account."

It works fine on iOS

  • Sounds as if you used a different Garmin Connect account on each of the phones. II'd verify the account IDs on both phones. It is in app menu » Settings » App Diagnostics » Device Name (iOS) / Didsplayname (Android)

  • Thanks. It's the same account on both phones  - and it has been the same since I started with Garmin,
    I can't seem to find the App Diagnostics? Please see the picture below.






  • I have it above the Device Sync Audit, but you can find the ID in the Device Sync Audit, too. At the top, just after the email address.

  • I found it; thanks. I did a sync and logged in and out. There were no error messages, and the same user was in both apps. However, the problem is persistent on Android.

    Workaround: Don't touch the Garmin Pay menu on Android after adding the cards—it looks like an Android bug. (Or simply adding cards on IOS)
