Garmin Connect won't connect with Lose It App

I just paid for Lose It Premium so I could connect with my Garmin. It seems to be connecting on the Lose It app but Garmin Connect doesn't show a connection. This appears to be a LONG standing issue (I wish I would have seen that before paying for Lose It), how do I fix it? Surely with all the software advances Garmin can figure out how to get an app to connect with its own software.

Any suggestions?

Some suggestions:

If successful, you should see it as FitNow in Garmin Connect Web under account information.

Thank you! This was very helpful.

I've been able to get them to talk to each other and LoseIt! seems to be updating the calories which is good. My workout didn't upload, but that may be due to the type of workout I saved. I'll play with it and see. It is easy to add that into LoseIt! manually so I'm not concerned.
