Hi, I am trying to sync a Garmin vivofit jr 2 to the Garmin Junior app. Everything works fine, I can add the watch, I can sync the watch, I can change various watch settings but I can't set the TIME!!!! I'm extremely frustrated. Everything on the internet applies either to adult watches or is simply unhelpful. Eg, connect the USB cable, this has not USB cable. I have tried the following with no luck. Ever time it is the same, sync works but time doesn't change. The time on the watch is not out by an even amount of time, eg it's not 1 hr behind or something, it's 38 minutes out for 1 watch and 3:12 for the other. So it's not a timezone issue.
- set the app up on a completely different phone that has never had the app installed before (bluetooth turned off on the first phone)
- tried with a second identical watch
- soft reset the watch
- restart the app
- restart the entire phone
- sync'd about 1000 times
- changed settings such as 24hr time, which always works first go
- removed and re-added the watch about 10 times
- deleted all family data and setup family from scratch
- checked time settings on the phone
- made sure permissions are enabled
- checked app is up to date
- give the app permission to everything (contacts, camera etc) even though it didn't ask for them
- checked for errors, not getting anything, sync appears to be successful
