Wy doesn't garmin connect feature "compare rounds" so that you know if you set a new pb on your favorite course. Just like strava has

You could use Segments for that purpose - create a segment on the round, and it comes with the global as well as with your personal ranking for each run (or ride) on the segment. Courses are just for navigation, and you probably do not need any navigation if you run the same track multiple times.
