Saved Activity GPS track suddenly changed on GCM

This. I did a run on Wednesday and it the GCM app it showed fine and as it happened. Then today I looked at the activity again on the phone and the GPS track was completely different. Not sure what changed. Anyone have this issue and there is a fix for it?

I cleared out the app cache and data, uninstalled the app and then reinstalled and it's still showing weird. FYI on the connect website it didn't change and is just like it was accurately recorded.

What exactly does it mean? If there are fewer trackpoints than on the web, then it is quite usual. The app reduces the number of trackpoints when plotting the track. It rarely uses the full resolution. Not sure whether it depends on the transfer speed, or on other factors, but it is possible.
