Why won't my coros heart rate monitor connect to my garmin app

My coros heart rate monitor that I bought does not connect to my Garmin Connect app. I have a Forerunner 265s, please add coros heart rate monitor to devices that you are able to connect.

Why do you want to add it to the app? The app can't log activities so it can't use the HR from the HR monitor.

Only add the HR monitor to the watch.
