[Ski touring] Inconsistency between Web and Android app on ascent/descent map

Hello,
I have discovered a bug in the Android Garmin Connect app in the ski touring activities. On the map display, ascents are shown in red, descents in blue, and transitions in gray. However, these are completely incorrect. On the other hand, in the Splits tab, the information is correct.
On the Garmin Connect website, the map display is accurate.
Could you please help me resolve this issue?

You can try reporting it to Garmin support, but probably they won't care. It's the same issue for skiing and I reported it a year ago. Nothing happened...
