Garmin connect doesn't count totals

Does the syncing work when you tap on the sync icon (the sync circle at the top of the app closing and turning green)? If not, try toggling Bluetooth on the phone, or restarting the watch and the phone. If the syncing works normally, then I recommend to Remove and Add a Device From the Garmin Connect App | Garmin Customer Support, then log a few minutes of steps and HR, and record a test activity, sync, and see whether it helped. If not, then have a look at the Troubleshooting guide for (some) data missing after syncing for more tips. 

Thanks for your reply. My prroblem started after buying a new phone, before everything worked just fine. I now have a Samnsung S24 Ultra (came from a S22 ultra) and installed everything from scratch multiple times. 

The syncing works fine. I use a Vivosmart 5 and a Epix Gen 2. When I finish a walk it uploads the results to Garmin Connect, I can even see the route. It just doesn't add up the totals.

In that case, there is almost certainly a problem with the watch being associated with more than one GC account that you probably unintentionally created when installing the app on the new phone. Removing and adding the device from the currently used Garmin Connect account should help. If not, check the guide previously linked for more detailed instructions.
