Hi All

i would be thankful for some assistance, every time i upload my files and there is possibility no connection the files seem to corrupt, its there fix to this and a way to repair the files to work with garmin express and strava? unit is an edge 520.

Try a manual upload from your Garmin device to Garmin Connect Web - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. Attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

You can also try to repair using a free 3rd party tool, such as FIT File Tools. Run the fit file through the "section remover."

I tried using 3rd party tools, something about no timestamps. I appreciate your assistance.

Just looking at the size of these 4 fit files...

There won't be anything salvageable. You can also try looking in the TempFIT folder. In general, the fix for future issues is to remove all activities from the \GARMIN\ACVIVITY folder using your computer. Or simply resetting your device to factory defaults.
