I have Garmin Connect and a Forerunner 55, all work fine.
I bought my son a Garmin vivofit Jr. 3 for his birthday and set up his Garmin Junior app and account on his phone, using my Connect login as the adult.
Now the question is - how can we view each other's steps and activities? I have tried Inviting him as a Friend, creating a Group all seem to not work. He doesn't even appear in Connect contacts. The only way we see each other is by creating new Challenges daily which is cumbersome.
Do I need to also install the Junior app on my adult phone to see his data? I assumed it would just pop up as I used my account details from Connect to set up his Junior app.
Any tips on how to make the most of this connection would be great, as I would like to add 2 more kids to this as we go along. Thanks!
