Garmin Edge 1040 shows un in Garmin connect (Android) with Chinese lettering- every other device is in english

Same on iOS. Edge 1040 is on ver 25.21, Garmin Connect is ver 5.7.1.2

I’m getting the same on iOS 18.2 My Edge 1040 is on 25.22 and Garmin Connect is on 5.7.2

all apps and devices updated, in Connect app, Epix is English, 1040 solar is Chinese

Same for 25.22 on my Edge 1040, but Not Fenix 7

Still the same on 25.40. Using GCM on Android Pixel 8a. Only happens on Devices: select 1040. All sections are in Chinese characters. Fenix 7 shows no such problem.

Did anyone of you report it to Garmin Support? They rarely react to posts on the user forum.

Yes. Reported under Edge 1040 bug reports and the community page, just trying to get some reaction. It seems a fault with GCM. and I don't see where to make bug reports on this.

I recommend reaching out to the Product Support through their website at https://support.garmin.com.

Same here . I have two devices . While the solar one is affected , the non solar one is ok
