Connect app shows active calories incorrectly in activity but correct in calories in/out

New to Garmin, had my watch about a week, managed to resolve a few issues I had but new one today is confusing.

Connect app has calculated swimming active calories as 3842 which is incorrect and has transferred this to my fitness pal. However, calories in/out is showing 367 active calories which seems more likely to be the correct figure compared to other days I have recorded swimming.

The app does not calculate any calories. It is the watch that does it. Which model do you use? Could you post a link to the activity? Please note that the forum is broken since a few days, and posting any links may be challenging. If you cannot post the link, just make the activity public in Garmin Connect web, and post the ID of the activity - the last part you see in the address line of the browser, when you open the activity.

Hi, issue resolved, activity corrected itself later in the day and updated my fitness pal.
