hydration track during a workout

Hi, I recently got a Forerunner 255 and love it.  I see there is an apparent option to log hydration during an exercise/workout.  However, despite having downloaded the app/glance I do not understand how one can update fluid intake DURING an activity.

    Where do you see that? I see that you can see the hydration in Garmin Connect in the stats, but not that you can add it during an activity.

    You can add hydration during an activity but it will not count to the activity. Just add it in the hydration glance. Switch to watchface during the activity and use the glance.

    I appreciate your suggestion and will give it a try.  I have seen elsewhere that this can sometimes cause GPS issues.  I guess we'll see!

  • The watch will estimate the sweat loss and list it in the activity. Afterwards you have to add the fluids you've consumed.
