Notification "Activity Ready to View" not showing on watch

Same here on my epix 2 pro and my friends Fenix 6 pro.

I still got a challenge completed notification for the 15k September run but I "activity is ready to view" notification and neither did my friend who joined me for the run today.

Seems to be a Garmin Connect issue as we both had the same yesterday after a run and I also did not get any notifications after finishing multiple strength activities all week.

Yes you're right. Same thing on my Venu 2.

After I updated Connect mobile Android on Aug 21.

I'm not holding my breath for Garmin to fix it anytime soon. Of course I could be wrong.....

This is definitely an issue on Android.  However it is wider than just the Connect app - I've had at least three apps which are no longer sending any notifications over the last few days.  Having been in touch with developers on some of the other apps I received the following from one of them this morning (not Garmin) - so we need Garmin to make some changes to get the push notifications working again.

Our team have investigated this, and we believe we have identified the cause. It seems that Google Play Store has changed and stopped some of their Push Notification services, so we will need to make some changes and revise a few things on our app so that these features will continue to work. It will take a few days for this work to be completed, and we hope to have the issue resolved by mid week.

Issue still not fixed.

I had trouble to get notifications to watch. I removed Garmin Connect from my phone and reinstalled that. After that, I checked all the apps that are allowed to send notifications to watch and now get all notifications quite fine.

The reported issue concerns activity notifications, not notification from other apps to a Garmin watch. The latter does work as you say.

In fact the recorded activity notification doesn't even show on the phone running GC.
