I have tried resetting it, reinstalling the app and it is still not putting anything but run data into the app
I don't really know what to do now
(It is a garmin instinct OG btw)

Is it paired with Garmin Connect? Does it sync (white circle around the watch icon closing and turning green)? Does it sync over the USB cable?
Have a look at the tips in the Sync / Connection Troubleshooting Guide
It says it syncs both manually and over Bluetooth, but it doesn't retain any of the data online
I will try some of the steps in this though
