Forerunner 965 syncing but not uploaded activity?

I've had my 965 for a couple of weeks and done several runs, walks and strength activities which have all uploaded fine but today's run, though it shows as a completed activity on my watch, is not uploading to Garmin connect. I have no access to a computer, have synced via Bluetooth and WiFi, have turned both the phone off and the watch and tried again and still nothing. 

I never had this problem with my 245 so am at a loss....

Any help or ideas please?

    If the file f the activity is corrupted you will have to find a PC (could be a public one - you do not need to install any programs), and import the corresponding FIT file manually. If you get an error, post the zipped file here, and a friendly fellow user may try to fix the broken file.

  • Firstly, thanks for the quick reply.  This would be the first sync.

    The return code 400, could also mean a restricted HTTP access to the upload server - for example due to your IP address being blocked by Cloud Flare (security gateway used by Garmin). You could try changing the Internet connection to an alternative network - i.e. using a local Wi-Fi access point instead of mobile data, or vice versa, or an public, or neighbor's AP. You can also try rebooting the phone.

    If not helping, then either use the PC for importing the file manually, or reach out to the Product Support through their website at https://support.garmin.com.  

  • Managed to get use of a laptop for a while and got it uploaded manually with no bother so must have been a connection issue. Thanks for your speedy replies.
