Calories logged in edge 540 not included in total calories (main device is Fenix 7s)

Hi,

This is a duplicate, i post anyways because Garmin are not responding for more than a year now.

Calories logged in my edge 540 are not included in total active calories. my main device is a Fenix 7s.

Is there a fix or a workaround? Or should I just switch to coros or wahoo?

More than 1k worth of Garmin stuff to get this subpart software and utter refusal to fix the issues. I think this is unreasonable given the prices they ask for.

After a ride (+ 2 shorter ones), active calories that garmin connect is accounting for are 758, the true value is 1383, not included the 2 other shorter activities.
I did reset the edge, removed both devices and added them back, and here it is...

This does not seem normal to me, idk about you.

Today I had this same issues. Recorded 6 hours bike ride with my edge, activity is correctly sync from the edge to Garmin cloud as I can see it in garmin cloud. My fitness pall does get the total amount of calories for the day. But on my Fenix 7 the extra calories from my bike ride are not visible. And 3800 kcal are quite visible on a graph as they should stand up a bit from my regular amount.
