My Forerunner 55 keeps losing connection/pairing

Every few days my Forerunner 55 stops synchronizing. In Android App the watch looks like turned off. I had to drop the device and add again to work for more days.

I also have issue with FR265 being forgotten by Pixel7a. I have to add device as if new. Doesn't happen with my Edge 530. Very annoying. Any ideas anyone?

Interesting, I'm also a Pixel 7a user and having this issue with my Forerunner 55. My wife also has the 55, but her phone is a Pixel 6a and she doesn't seem to be having this problem.

Same problems here since juli with Pixel 7a and Fenix 5s.

Same here. Pixel 7a user and FR255S

Seems like the Pixel 7a is the common theme.

I thought it got better after some of recent updates, but it is still happening.

Neither Garmin nor Google support are any help.

Since my 7a took Android 15, no more lost connections to my 265. Fixed or just a run of good luck? Fingers crossed.

I also have to say that the lasts months I did not have issues.

That was my hope too :-)
It is definitely better, but still disconnecting.

Same here for my wife's Pixel 7a and (1 week old) forerunner 165. Connect app is at v5.7.1, and her Pixel 7a at a recent November 2024 (= current month) update, android 15.

My pixel 6a and FR 965 no connection problem at all.
