Venu3 suggest to connect to navigation on phone and stops activity

As a user, I want the watch to keep tracking the activity while a notification appears, so that I have a complete tracked activity.

I have a Venu3, had a few times during a cycling activity that the watch gives a notification that I can connect to my mobile phone for navigation. During this notification, the watch stops tracking the activity, meaning I have a partial activity at the end. 

It starts tracking again when I cancel the notification. 

Doesn't happen every activity, but happened 3-4 times in the last few weeks. Do have my phone with me, Bluetooth is on.

  • It does not happen on any Garmin watch that I am familiar with, so I suggest posting your message on the Venu 3 forum, where other users of the same model may confirm (or deny) the problem, or may know about a setting for disabling any such notifications, or know about another workaround.
