Is it possible to see individual laps in the activity's map?

Hi,

I am interested in seeing my cutting patterns while playing ultimate frisbee. For that, I record each point as a lap, but in the map of the activity all laps are showed without any option to toggle just one lap at a time. For visualization purposes, because all laps happen in the same area (i.e., the field), it is impossible to see anything since they overlap each other.

Is there a way to see one lap at a time in the map of some running-like activity?

Thank you

  • Not directly, but (apart of using 3rd party solutions), you can use the Trim function, and trim individual laps manually, The trim is reversible, so you can repeat it as many times you need. Otherwise, I recommend suggesting it to Garmin at Share Ideas | Garmin

  • You can export the activity on Google Earth by exporting it at .KML. Then import it on Google Earth and filter the lay out for the laps.

Steps on the Garmin Connect portal:

    1) Find the activity

    2) At the top right, click on the gear button.

    3) Export to Google Earth.
