Gpx import - elevation overestimation by 30%

I noticed an extreme overestimation of elevation (about 30%) when importing Gpx files since a few weeks.

For example this race Gpx below should be 3425M positive but reported as 4551M in Garmin connect. I'm not sure about the impact on the pacepro feature yet but this is concerning.
