"No devices paired" in Garmin connect app

Hi,

i have Venu2 watches, everything was fine, until update to new "Garmin Connect" application. It started several months ago, but I have still waited, that some update will fix this issue. It is annoying bug. My watches regularly disappear from GC mobile app. I'm tired of reregistering them again, and again. Today it happened 2 times per day, First time in morning at 10:00, second time at 20:55.

I have read all possible recommendations on this forum and already tried in the past

  • updated to latest SW, Venu2 +  GC
  • clear GC app cache
  • logoff from GC
  • reset Venu2
  • hard reset Venu2
  • re-register device

My screenshot and logs from sync are available here https://nc.chovan.net/s/6wtZWYpfxc8rWPH

Please help me solve this issue or fix it.

Hint: look at alarms / notification, I can't enable them on watches, only in GC app.

Thank You.

  • Hi, the same bug here.

Watch is the venu sq and it must be repaired with connect and phone (pixel 8a) time to time...

I don't found any solution for the bug

  • Have a look at the tips in the Sync / Connection Troubleshooting Guide and search for the keyword Pixel on that page - there are couple of tips related to that phone model.

  • Same thing happens for me with a Fenix 5 and a Pixel 7a.

This is a new problem, I'm fairly sure that this worked a couple of months ago.

  • Meme probleme avec un pixel 7a et une garmin 255.

  • Hi All,

I was contacted by support, they provide solution, but you will lose all wifi + bt settings. So far I don't have connection issue.

    1. do backup, sync watch with GC app, because you will lose last activity

    2. remove device from garmin connect app

    3. remove device from bluetooth

    4. clear garmin connect cache, data, and uninstall this app

    5. reset android network settings (Warning, all wifi, and registered BT devices will be lost)

    6. reboot phone

    7. hard reset garmin watch

    8. then after boot of phone install garmin connect app

    9. add watch in GC app.

this looks like it fixed this issue, at least for me.
