Garmin Connect - music player's audio stays muffled after audio prompt and wont turn back to normal volume

I am having issue in the Garmin Connect application from past few days where the music like Spotify or any other music players audio stays muffled after a Audio Prompt during any activity tracking like running. Normally after the Audio Prompt is finished the music audio would automatically go back to normal volume but now it stays muffled. If I pause and start the audio again then it comes back to normal but again after a audio prompt from Garmin Connect will keep it muffled. This issue only started few days back - I have tried everything including restarting the watch, reinstalling Garmin Connect app but nothing works. Can anyone advise?

  • Thank you, I have also encountered this problem (well, the audio stops completely when I get a lap prompt) on my Fenix 6. Just need to prevent it updating until / if they decide fix it!

  • I installed the v5,1 APK. Going to try it out tomorrow. I also mentioned it at Support, but they kept asking irrelevant information (like my computersystem, Laptops system software and so on, before they were willing to help. I made it very clear that is was in v5.2 Connect app mobile Android, but they refuse to proceed without the requested info. I stopped it and gave a bad support review.
