Regarding the heart rate display, The values labeled as "7-Day Avg Resting" and "Resting" do not match the heart rate graph or reality. They are simply wrong. My long term resting heart rate was consistently less than 40 until three weeks ago when a pacemaker was installed with the minimum heart rate locked at 60. If I look at current rate displayed when resting it correctly shows 60 with the occasional plus or minus point or two. If I look at the heart rate graph the minimum shown is always a flat line at 60. The average values displayed have been rising but still haven't reached 60.
This situation exists on my device, android app and web site.
I know that we cannot always rely on the raw data that our devices report but I think we should be able to expect that the arithmetic is correct.
Am I missing something here?
Per Garmin:
"Resting Heart Rate: This value is for the current day. Daily RHR is calculated using the lowest 30 minute average in a 24 hour period."
"7-Day Average Resting Heart Rate: Some watches will display a 7-day average resting value which is the daily average resting heart rate over the last seven days. "It is a rolling value and does not reset at the beginning of each week."
