Just got Run Over...Varia RTL515 data recovery?

Hello my friends, hope you're doing fine.

Unfortunately on saturday i got Run Over by a car while riding my bike, i have several broken bonés but Im happy Im still Alive. My question is, i had my Edge 830 on with the rtl515 also on and paired.

Does 830 saves any data from the Ride regarding the radar occurrences? Like speed that Cars pass you by / approach, etc?

    DC Rainmaker has written a post about how it can be done, but I think you must have to add a data field to a screen on the Edge for it to log the data. I did a test with one of my historic files and didn't get any data.

    Thanks you so much for your reply. This is exactly what i was looking for. However, for what i understood i had to have the data screen on on order to log data...i didnt had.

    Anyone here from Garmin knows if i can retrieve this data from the Garmin connect file?

    Sorry for your accident and wishing fast recovery!

    If no data field of the radar was added to the activity profile, then unfortunately the activity file does not contain any such data, hence cannot be retrieved. If you are uncertain whether the data field was active or not, zip the FIT file of the activity, and insert it here. You can also post a link to the activity as it shows up in Garmin Connect Web. We can try to look whether some data of intertest is available or not.

    I do not believe that the Varia radar keeps some data internally, but to be sure I recommend reaching out to the Product Support through their website at https://support.garmin.com and asking them. It is unlikely anyone from Garmin would comment here, on the user forum. Use the Phone or Chat options. Email exchanges take a lot of time.
