Instinct first generation and HRV in Connect

I've got an Instinct original (first generation maybe) and the help in the Connect app refers to HRV for determining stress. But when I looked up HRV and Instinct it seems this watch is not capable of measuring HRV. Does anyone know which is true?

Both of it - it measures HRV for detecting Stress and adjusting Body Battery, but it does not support the HRV Status, overnight HRV, and related features.
