Is the Samsung tab 8 2024 now adays still compatible with the Venu sq?

Hi there,

Is the Samsung tab 8 2024 now adays still compatible with the Venu sq? I cannot finish installation on these tab 8. I want to connect/sync to the watch with more devices.

I have a Samsung A6 mobile phone, Android 10, and two Samsung tab 8 2024, Android 14. Pairing and syncing with phone is no problem, but both (!) tab 8 connect the initial time to the venu sq, but then installation fails/does not complete and i am asked to do it again and again. I tried on tab 8 and the watch, conform instructions, and without any success: on/off device and same for bluetooth, reinstalling apps, reset watch/app, etc.etc.

I had this same problem with my outdated Polar Unite, that seemed not anymore compatible with the newest processors/hardware of the tab 8. This fact is confirmed by Polar themselves, after pushing them firmly to give this information free (was reason to buy Garmin)

What do I have to do to solve this problem, because i am afraid to replace my  Samsung phone and then not being able anymore to connect to my Venu sq.

  • I suspect that the venu sq is no longer compatible with anything, it is not the phone's fault.  

    I am having issues with bluetooth disconnecting, AND THEN NOT AUTOMATICALLY RECONNECTING, I have to go throught he pairing process every bloody time. I am seriously tempted to throw the bloody thing away.
