I sometimes go bouldering and leave my watch in the changing room because of the (small yes, but still non-zero) risk of de-gloving. I still wear my HRM-Pro Plus. When I return I sync with my watch and there is only one issue. On my watch and my Garmin app the calories are not included in the Calorie details-section (app) or in the Active Calories and Total Calories glance on my watch. But my activity is there in the app and it says I've burned approx 500 calories, and my heart rate is visible as it is recorded onto my HRM.
My question is, when this info is there on the app and on my watch, why is it not added to my calorie count for the day?
And also, does this lack of calorie count also mean some other stats are affected? I think my acute load is updated to reflect the bouldering activity correctly, but who knows, you know.
