Why has intensity minutes stopped working?.

 As of May 5th *none* of my activities have shown on Intensity minutes- despite recording activities from Zwift(HRM Pro), Edge 1030, Fenix 6X Pro which normally all contribute perfectly.

My heart rate zones still appear to be set correctly. My most recent activity  shows 86% of a cycle race in zone 4 and 5, yet Connect still doesn't show any intensity minutes.

It has always worked well before, accepting data from various sources without trouble.

  • Further investigation shows that there are gaps in Garmin Connect HR data (when I was wearing the HRM during activities).

    Even though the HR data has been recorded in my activities, I am getting 'Sync failed' in Connect when I try to get data direct from HRM Pro to Garmin Connect. I will try removing battery I suppose, to reset it.

    HRM Pro connects/pairs etc fine but just won't sync data.

  • Found a useful support article relating to hrm-pro sync issues. Removing the battery for 5 minutes from the HRM Pro, removing it from all paired devices (edge, Fenix, phone) and re- adding it resolved the issue, although I have lost a few weeks of data.

    Shame Garmin Connect doesn't incorporate the HR data from the uploaded activities.
