Strave Routes login error on Garmin Connect

Hi,

My equipment:

Garmin Edge 520 Plus

Samsung A52

Garmin Connect on the Android

Strave Routes installed via Garmin Connect IQ on Garmin Edge 520 Plus

When i try to use Strava routes on the Garmin Edge 520 Plus, then I am getting a login error, that throws up a popup: Strava Routes: There was a problem getting you signed in! RETRY / CANCEL

This popup sits onto of a screen that shows some code (?) that reads:

{"messate":"Bad Request","errors:[{"resource":"Authorize","field":"scope","code":"invalid]}]

Anyone experiences the same? What is the issue here?

Strava Routes is no longer supported. Routes from Strava is now transferred to Garmin Connect server to server.

OK, so I can take Strava routes off the Garmin edge 520 plus. What does that mean "Routes from Strava is now transferred to Garmin Connect server to server". From whcich server to whcih server, and how do I get them to my edge 520 plus? I also have komoot, and CAN do it that way, but it is a paiun in the backside as I have to export the GPX file from strava get it into to lomoot, then suck it into the edge via garmin connect IQ ...

If you have Courses enabled on Garmin Connect - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/settings/accountInformation

From Strava https://www.strava.com/athlete/routes "star" any course you want synced to Garmin Connect

It will then show up under courses in Garmin Connect https://connect.garmin.com/modern/courses

Then using the app you can sync to your Edge.

sounds good I try that. Now in the meantime I hve an issue uninstalling Strava Routes from the 520 plus. it jsut says there is an error doing it. end of. :( sometimes it is not my day. or the day of the 520 ..

You should be able to connect your Edge to a computer via USB, then navigate to the \GARMIN\Courses folder, then delete the contents.

If you don't have that many, you can do it right from your Edge - Edge 520 Plus - Deleting a Course (garmin.com)

Don't forget that there is 100 course limit on the edge, I know this as I just ran into it on my 530

Have you tried reconnecting your Strava account in the Garmin Connect app on your Samsung A52? That might help resolve the issue.

It is all working now as far as I can see. I am not sure what I did last, to be honest. I took that rig out for a ride a couple of days ago and it all linke dup fine (apaert from my external sensor, but thye just needed a new battery each
