Weekend walking Challenge not recorded

Hello,

I completed 9km.walk n Friday 10th of May 7am and I joined the challenge before doing so and the activity is recorded as a walking activity, despite this I did not earn the badge.

  • Try leaving and rejoining the chalenge. It usually helps in such cases. If not, you can also try editing and saving the activity (without actually changing anything). Then wait a minute or two, and reload the Challenges page (when checking it on Garmin Connect Web), or force-stop and relaunch the app, if still nothing shows up.

    1. Hi, you are not alone, I have the axact some issue. Joined the May 3 mile walk challenge at start of month, done a 5.33 klm walk Friday 10th @ 2:14pm and as you noted, the challenge has not recognised this walk or updated the badge to show "completed".
    2. I thought of doing as trux has suggested below, cancelling/leaving & rejoining. Not sure on the "edit & save" suggestion??
  • Well there ya go, I just now cancelled the challenge (3 small dots drop down in top right hand corner) & rejoined, checked my challenges pages & hey presto....it now shows as completed. ThumbsupFlag au

Try that Boudy, hope it helps mate.

Thanks to trux for the suggestion. Pray

  • I'm experiencing this, despite having walked at least 3 miles twice this weekend (Friday and today), but I think the problem is I walk with poles (Nordic walking) so it records it as elliptical rather than walking. I have just tried adding a 'walk' as a Manual Activity, resyncing, leaving and rejoining the challenge, but to no avail. I'm also nowhere near to achieving the May Walking and May Time to Walk Challenges, despite already smashing the first one and being close to completing the 2nd one. I guess I'll just have to concede, as long as I walk with poles, I'm not going to complete any 'walking' challenges. For info, 'steps' challenges are fine.
