Venu3S interfering with phone calls answered on the phone

Since getting my Venu3, I have had issues with my phone calls randomly disconnecting. I am answering the call on my Samsung phone, and not the watch, but it seems the connection with the watch is the cause of the issue as if I disconnect the watch from the phone via the watch settings, my calls are not disconnected. 

Does anyone have a solution for this?

I tried to contact Garmin to report the issue but the chat isn't available for this model, the call centre has limited hours and no email address is visible.
