I wanted to share my thoughts and frustrations about the recent updates to the Garmin Connect app and Connect website home page.. Personally, I'm not a fan of the new version at all. The ugly new UI looks hideous and it has lost functionality.
I miss the data-dense and rich interface of the old version. It provided me with all the information I needed at a glance, without having to navigate through layers of unnecessary design. The new version feels like it's prioritizing impractical style over substance.
What's even more frustrating is that our feedback seems to be falling on deaf ears at Garmin. I've tried reaching out to support via chat, but all I get are canned responses, basically just copy/pastes from their FAQ. It's disheartening to feel like our concerns aren't being heard or acknowledged.
I'm also curious if any of you have reevaluated the rating you've given in the mobile app stores. Has anyone noticed a change in the overall rating recently? I would think it may have dropped.
Let's discuss our experiences and see if we can come up with any strategies for getting our feedback heard and hopefully seeing some improvements in future updates.
