Goals in Connect App

Please bring the "Goals" page from the web app into the phone app. It's such a useful function, but the only way to see my goals on the app is to use the calendar and scroll to the end of my goal?

I feel like it's a big oversight to simply leave out this function on the phone. Not even speaking about not having them on the watch, which is also not great.

  • *Edit*

Just realized its not even possible to open my goals when navigating to them from the calendar.

  • This has been a long-standing issue with the Garmin Connect app for many years. My only suggestion is to use the web site to view and create goals. And put in a request to Garmin, which I'm sure many have done alreadyFrowning2️  I was hoping with the new version of the app, there would be goals in the "At A Glance" section, which was my suggestion I just now submitted.

  • Thank you. I knew about the idea-form but I figured doing this public in a forum might be better. It seems there are so many functions that would be easy to implement and users have been requesting for years but Garmin just does not care.

Though I also put these request into the idea-form:

"New user to Garmin Connect. It is missing a lot of very usable functions that would be easy to implement but by looking into the forums it seems they have been requested for many years now but not answered by Garmin:

    1. Goals need to be visible in the app and if possible also on the watch

    2. In Strength Training there needs to be a way to add custom exercises. Also, the list of preset exercises needs to be better organized.

    3. GPS Tracks should be editable in case the track has been recorded wrong by the device. Not only shortened at the end or beginning

    4. If an activity is manually changed (distance, time, kalories etc) these input needs to be updated with connected apps."
