Where are the Intensity Minutes in the new Updated UI?

I got rid of the Beta Version in February because it lacked a key feature I use every week. Intensity Minutes. The new UI doesn't have it anywhere on it. I worked out for an hour on a HIIT program and nothing showed up in this new updated version of the Connect app. I wear the HRM Pro and up until now the Intensity Minutes were always there. How do I get the Intensity Minutes back? Can I roll back this update? If I can't get them back in the Connect app can someone recommend a new app that capture this metric for me?

  • Do you really only see 3 stats that you can add to your At A Glance? For me, with the epix (Gen 2) there are 30 possibilities, including Intensity minutes. I suggest resetting your home screen. Edit Home > Reset Home. Then see if you see more available stats.

If still problematic, try closing the app, then do a force stop. Long press Connect icon, app info, force stop, OK

  • Thanks. I never needed a Garmin Watch for capturing intensity minutes. They always appeared with my HRM Pro strapped to my chest. I don't have an option to reset my home screen in the Connect App. Judging by the forum threads, this 5.0 update appears to be pretty disastrous for alot of us Garmin fitness app users.

After tapping "Edit Home," you should see Reset Home on the next screen, after scrolling to the bottom.

You can also do the same on Garmin Connect Web at the bottom of this page - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/settings/homeSettings. If still not working, I imagine something happened where now you need a Garmin watch to have intensity minutes reported.

Might be worth opening a case with Garmin Support - https://support.garmin.com
