If Garmin are planning to stick with this interface please accept the following feedback
We need to be able to switch the order of the elements on the screen.
In focus at the top is not good for me. I tend to want to quickly check how a stat is doing over a day and it's not fast enough to have to swipe left and right. Allow us to switch the order so at a glance can go top
On my pixel 8 I cannot edit at a glance. I cannot add elements to the 8 that should appear on the home screen and I cannot reorder them. This is the most important UI element for me and it's basically broken
When it is fixed, why am I stuck with only 8 data points allowed on the home screen. I really don't want to have to tap into it to see what I want to see, why not just allow me to have as many as I want. 8 doesn't seem like a performance limit and if it is you've really messed up. 8 seems like an arbitrary decision, at least make it 20 or something much higher
This isn't going to stop me using my Garmin but I'm afraid the new interface isn't good. It's definitely a regression in quality from the previous UI. I think the reaction on here while overly angry has a core message, people don't like what you've done.
I just don't know where to find the data I was interested in previously and the edit function just doesn't work well enough to allow me to find it again
The best look for Garmin is to listen to user feedback and revert while you rethink the design. People do not want to have to swipe or tap to see basic data. We need a way we can see as much headline data as possible without having to navigate into an additional screen, the new interface fails in this core usage aim
It also needs to be obvious how to get to the detailed data and that seems to have gone as well. I had my screen setup nicely, I spent a long time doing it and you've just taken it away without warning or asking me if I wanted to switch
Right now I'm a very dissatisfied customer, I hope you can fix it
