Since you're on android, not exactly user friendly, but possible - Switch back step by step guide - Garmin Connect Mobile Android - Mobile Apps & Web - Garmin Forums. Note that there were some issues that were actually fixed with the latest update, so if you were impacted by those, they would reoccur. 

For Garmin Connect Web or to update the current app, best to contact Garmin Product Support directly. Assuming they may say it is what it is or direct you to use the request form - Share Ideas | Garmin

Even so, they should at least log the support desk call

I can't believe they did this and thought it was some kind of improvement.   I've been playing with it for about 2 hours trying to get it to show me the things I want/need and it just isn't working.

What exactly? Maybe I could help, since I've been using the beta for 3 months.

So so so bad. Can't see how anyone thought this was a good idea or improvement. It was great before, plenty of other things could use improvement like the workout builder.

I agree wholeheartedly with everyone complaining about the new format. Please go back to the original, or give me a choice to do so. The device is unusable to me this way.
