New Garmin connect mobile updated home page is awful

I cannot believe how bad the new Garmin connect home page is. Why remove the ease of viewing my day with one glance of the app?. Now have to scroll through the page to see all the info that was contained in my day section.  On top of that, the user has no ability to bring back the old display or edit it to something similar. This new update is so annoying I suspect my next smart watch won't be a Garmin.

If this home page stays as is, I will no longer be a Garmin user for ANY of their products.

Update to moderator.   Nothing in my original post was "uncivil".  Why do you keep censoring my comments?

    Complaining anywhere doesn't seem to help although it's quite obvious that UI design was not a successful. There have been numerous attempts and a lot of feedback and even UI design suggestions on different forums. And this is not foul language or offensive.

    Agree. No idea what he's going on about. I haven't seen anything offensive. We've all submitted our feedback. Forums are for discussing our experience wit the product. Including the hate for the product.

    The liberal use of the word "sucks" could be offensive to some, especially among the older forum members. At the very least, I would consider it unprofessional. Whether or not that is grounds for locking the thread, that is totally up to the moderators. Personally, I'd lock the thread for other reasons, as I believe it has run its course and has become quite repetitive.

    Having read these threads I can't find any foul language. So what in your view was foul language, by the way I'm English so perhaps we don't see it.

    Agree 100 %. The new update is an absolute joke of a UI/UX update, that I for the life of me cannot understand how anyone thought was better. The way Garmin are conducting themselves on the software front, they are quickly pushing me to look for other brands.

    Well good news bad news depending on your prospective..

    the mobile app will nolonger be downloadable for older phones(android 8 and below) This literally means it will kill of users ig they buy the  watches and have  older phones... This is starting to feel like a huge push too alienate folk even further.... And force people to keep buying newer devices for what ever the purpose... I know many will disagree with  y comment. But give the two finger salute with web connect and the app and now a few months later the upping of the min os requirement even further. It just seems that Garmin has taken a very dark turn....

    It is obvious Garmin is going to do nothing to fix their app.  
    So my suggestion for this forum is instead of complaining about the app, let's discuss what is the best alternative to Garmin products and the Garmin app!

    A Suunto Race S would at the moment be my choice.

    Well I scuba dive and Suunto Ocean has new feature that no one else has at the moment, 3d map/route of a dive, so I would probably look into that.
