New Garmin connect mobile updated home page is awful

I cannot believe how bad the new Garmin connect home page is. Why remove the ease of viewing my day with one glance of the app?. Now have to scroll through the page to see all the info that was contained in my day section.  On top of that, the user has no ability to bring back the old display or edit it to something similar. This new update is so annoying I suspect my next smart watch won't be a Garmin.

If this home page stays as is, I will no longer be a Garmin user for ANY of their products.

Update to moderator.   Nothing in my original post was "uncivil".  Why do you keep censoring my comments?

  • Totalmente de acuerdo con lo comentado, yo esperaba más de Garmin, este cambio ha sido pésimo, de hecho estoy buscando otra marca, afortunadamente hay opciones.

  • Rating now 4.2, was 4.5 before 5.0 update.

  • Please go onto the app store and leave a review or update your previous review so we keep the pressure on Garmin to act on their customers opinions!

  • Please go onto the app store and leave a review or update your recent review so we keep the pressure on Garmin to act or our dislikes will fade and result in no actions by Garmin.

  • Continues to be painful. Many customers will look elsewhere with their next purchase. Just give us the option ... I think that's all we're asking.

  • Why has Garmin not responded to our reactions to the recent update? It is in no way acceptable. PLEASE give a home screen choice, like it was!

  • Not really surprised its slipping, if you view by 'recent' mostly its 1 star since the upgrade.  Talked to a friend who recently bought a Garmin watch, he didn't use the old UI much before the upgrade.  His PoV was that the UI was OK (he is really only interested in a subset of the parameters the Garmin devices produce).  But he also said he mainly uses the Strava app, as it has a much better display of performance data.  Alas not a solution for those of use who want both performance and biometrics.

  • Yes, I mean it does match some people's requirements.  Especially of you only want to see a subset of the available data.  Alas it seems a lot of people liked to see almost everything.  Personally don't like the tiles, too small to see anything other than an icon of a graph, so everything involves point and click, unlike the old UI where you could get an overview of many things with a simple scroll.  I may explore the apps you can link Garmin data too, so all I need to use the app for is synching (and I can do that on my watch without opening the app).

  • Or, how can I put all of my activities in the "At a Glance" section? Right now that is not possible due to the way the new app is designed. I just like to see all my activities in one screen and swipe down to view them all, the "New" version doesn't let me do that. I am not a fan of "In Focus". I now have to look in several places to find what was displayed in one. Sometimes "New and Improved" changes are actually NOT!
