New Garmin connect mobile updated home page is awful

I cannot believe how bad the new Garmin connect home page is. Why remove the ease of viewing my day with one glance of the app?. Now have to scroll through the page to see all the info that was contained in my day section.  On top of that, the user has no ability to bring back the old display or edit it to something similar. This new update is so annoying I suspect my next smart watch won't be a Garmin.

If this home page stays as is, I will no longer be a Garmin user for ANY of their products.

    so are they going to change it back? as while trying to change it back I accidentally lost all my data. all my rungs all my swims every activity from 2019. I'm really gutted. so there's two things I need to get the data back and the layout changed. I've only just bought a new garment. I wouldn't have bought it knowing that the layout was going to be like this

    The web is full of tutorials to help you go back, but the important thing is to prevent it from updating again to the latest version.

    If you want to disable the automatic update of a specific application, launch the Play Store, search for the name of the application using the bar located at the top and press Enter, to see the list of apps related to the search you made.

    Now, locate the application you are interested in in the list that is proposed to you and tap on its name, to view its summary screen; once there, press the ⫶ button located at the top right and remove the check mark from the box next to the item Update. Autom./Automatic updates. Then repeat for any other applications that you don't want to update automatically.

    Thanks for this! I absolutely despise the new update so I did this straight away, but it keeps updating overnight and I end up with the crap new version. I haven't been able to see how to stop the automatic update so thanks for spelling it out!

    Hello friend, take your time and try to search in the Google bar "How to roll back to an older version of an app on Android" and then follow one of more tutorials.

    Unfortunately I can't be more specific, because I believe that if I did, my post would be deleted. It's not difficult to do this, but if a guy is not familiar with android, then you have to do things very carefully, because Google tries to block installations that don't come directly from the Play Store... Ok?

    Agreed wholeheartedly. Yesterday tab displays stats only if at a glance is enabled. If it's disabled, no stats are shown for yesterday. SO MUCH SPACE WASTED between all the icons. Why this push for scrolling. Jeez. I'm disgusted and will literally change watches because of this if it's not reverted or severely improved.
