Suggestions for adjustments to the new Garmin connect mobile interface ("At a glance", 8 Stats cards).

Dear representatives, Garmin.

I guess you have already received feedback from users. This is a normal process when there is a radical change of software.
However, some improvements need to be made in the near future. We should take into account that the transition period should be more flexible in terms of getting used to new solutions. They should be introduced gradually, then there will be less negativity and more constructive and positive proposals.

First suggestion, please include on the Home page "At a glance" the possibility to add more Stats cards, now limited to 8. The minimum should be 12-14, and it is better to bring it up to 20.

    Why not, will there be an example?
    What's the use of such statements, oh bad, oh bad?
    I was in the beta, I wrote them the same proposal. There was no feedback. Resentment is necessary, but you need to indicate the reason for resentment and look at it from the outside, maybe not everyone needs the same as you.

    If the new version is categorically not accepted, the only way out on android is to reinstall version 4.71.1 and use it until changes are made via Ideas\Garmin.
    This forum is more for "shouting" than for solutions.

    I tried to toggle In Focus off and it won't turn off.  I'd love to eliminate it and just have At a glance, but I can't figure out  how to get rid of it.

    Whats the use of your statement claiming incorrect facts? We have less options to show data now, that is clearly visible.

    How to switch off In Focus:
    At the bottom of the home screen - Edit Home
    In Focus - switch off.
    Also did exit profile and re-enter the application, do also refresh the cache.

    1. Anyone know how to add a manual activity now?

    2. I would echo the ability to reorder the panels. Now have to do a bunch of scrolling to get to the item that I want to see at a glance (in the In Focus)

    3. Font size too big on panels. For example once steps get to 10,000 and above I can no longer see what the number is

    4. Should be able to choose to stack activity panels rather than scrolling when you have multiple activities in a single day

    5. At a Glance - no ability to determine which ones appear on the Home Screen and which ones you need to select "See All". The items that i regularly wanted to see are now multiple steps away. Did they test on different types of devices?

    You can reorder the glances, the first 8 will be shown on the homescreen, the rest when you go to all glances..

    I agree with you here the activities at the top of the screen - I know what I did. It takes up the whole screen and should be lower down on the list of far too big tiles that we have to deal with now.

    All the suggestions point to going back to the old version. That should be one of the options. It makes more sense on a phone screen.

    There should be no limit at all to the number of cards that can be added to the home screen!

    And please change back to narrower cards that span the whole width of the screen, just as it was in the previous version. That would allow to really see your stats AT A GLANCE.
