Here’s the link: Poll: Garmin Connect Mobile IOS v5.0
Started a poll to which I invite Android users to participate and rate the new home screen. I didn’t start a new thread with it here to prevent duplicate votes.

Give us a quickbutton option to choose classic look or just change it back immmediately. I had the beta weeks ago and gave Garmin the feedback that the new version was terrible.
Complete downgrade was…
Horrible update. I don't understand when companies downgrade their products to less user friendly versions. I spent almost 5 minutes just trying to figure out how to add a new weight. I had my home screen…
Change it back immediately please!!! Terrible
So... having worked in IT for a long time... here is a story... Windows decided to update XP to Vista. everyone hated it. so much none of the corporate clients would upgrade - millions of servers and workstations. MS ended up having to extend the lifespan of XP for years till they eventually produced a better produt. why -because of the purchase power of all those corporates. but if we as a community do not have that weight then ...oh well
Any android user - don't know abut iOS - can do the same - explain why in google apps review. switch off auto-update on your watch. disable auto update on google apps. DL 4.77.1 via APKMirror or similar - and that is it. you now have the old homepage - and for me - I did not loose any data - had the watch since January 2024.
Now simply wait for Garmin to fix the update with a classic view or....
wait till until your are in a position to migrate to a different platform .
the thing is.. as fitness persons we are focused on our stats. we are not dependent on the platform to host our data like corporates with MS So. Garmin will either fix and provide a classic version or loose customers to other providers that satisfy the user requrement for stats. like the Linux migration.
I do wonder if there are any Garmin devs out there that would be interested in creating an API to pull our data to excel format cls format or such
This is my last post on this issue - I will be curios if the moderators let it remain - freedom of speech and all that...
Why did you blow up all the settings that I had made and replace them with the things *you* want to see? The look and feel is appalling. Your choices are all wrong for me. I do not want to have to reconfigure it. The structure is cluttered and unpleasant to look at.
I concur with other users: just totally reverse it or give us a single-click "classic view" option which restores the old, functional UI and restores our settings.
Yesterday was the first day in years that I never once looked at it (after discovering what you'd done at 4:45am).
The battery in my watch is failing and I was starting to shop for a replacement unit - a Garmin of course to match all my other gear. I'm now holding on that, and my brand decision will be informed by your response to your customers.
You goofed in an enormous way. How will you respond to being called on it?
