new update is insane. should I delete the app?

Why delete the app? It is used for syncing and the smart features. It is only the Home page that has changed. Everything else is the same. Is there any data that is more important to you, then add that to the home page. Everything can always be found in the menus just as before... And in the glances on the watch.

I think the same.  The app is terrible (the web version is much better) and now to make matters worse I can't see the things that interest me as I had it configured, nor my bikes, nor progress on my annual goal... among other things.  Obviously I can't uninstall it, but I think I'll switch to Strava.

Can you change it back to the old layout really don't like this new one 

I guess you are talking about the web since in the app (this subforum) you couldn't see the gear and goals in the My Day page.

In the web you can have direct links to the gear and goals.

On my phone I always use a bookmark to my goals since they have always been missing in the app.

Just reinstall previous version buddy... thats what I did....  Now everything is back where is was and the useless info you can't change is  gone....  As well as all the options to have what YOU choose and not what the devs have decided is more important yet uselss.

Since the overview is limited to 8 cards, you are now forced to click through submenus to see statistics that you want to "keep an eye on". Fantastic
