Golf scorecards not syncing with Garmin Connect

For the past two weeks, none of my golf scorecards have synced with Garmin Connect ( both via the android connect app and Garmin express)

The activity syncs fine, but not the scorecard. 

Note: I'm using a forerunner 935 and the score is still visible on the watch 

Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix?

  • If the scorecard is not saving, you may need to perform the following steps:

    1. Open the Garmin Golf app > Tap the Scorecards tab at the bottom of the opening screen in app > Then tap the circular arrow refresh icon at the top of the scorecard list page to refresh and see if the scorecards missing then appear on screen. If the missing cards do not populate after refreshing, proceed to step 2. 
    2. Connect your Forerunner to a home computer via USB using the charging cable > On computer, open File Explorer (if using Windows PC) or open Finder (if using Mac) and open the GARMIN device storage drive showing for the watch > In the GARMIN folder, you will see sub-folders > Open the SCORE or SCORECARD labeled sub-folder and confirm if there are .fit files showing stored in the folder that have creation dates matching the scorecards you are missing in the account. If there are .Fit files showing that match the missing cards, proceed to step 2. 
    3. Connect the watch to a home computer using the charging cable > Then sync up your Forerunner through the Garmin Express program adding it as a device > The watch will then sync to your account via corded connection and check to see if the missing scorecards transfer. 

    After checking the scorecard folder in step 2 above, if you notice there are no .fit files showing for the missing scorecards...the storage on your watch may be getting full resulting in the scorecards not getting recorded. Deleting activities from the Settings > History > Options > Delete all Activities option can help free up storage on your device to clear out the device copy of all your previous activities recorded on the device. The activities will remain stored on your account after deleting them from the watch.
