Hi All,
I am just making the transition over too Garmin epix from Suunto and so far I am loving it and very impressed with everything!
I was just hoping to see if the Garmin Guru's here could help me find a couple of things I cant seem to find.
1, In Suunto app there is the ability to see your average time in heart zone across all activities. I have attached a pic. I find this useful as I get my high intensity running and low intensity cycling and like to get an 80 20 split high / low. In Garmin I have found the same data for each activity, but not across many activities / weeks. Is there any way to see this data that I have missed?
2, Suunto app has a built in generalised coach that give you general advice. Again I have attached a pic. In Garmin connect, I have seen much more advanced training plans than are available in Suunto, but is there anything similar to this where it gives you general suggestions across sports? I find it an easy way to get some general guidance day to day, without a proper training plan.
Other than these two things the epix blows away my nine peak pro! I am sure the info is available, I just don't know where to look...
One other question, does anyone know any good ways to transfer my data across from suunto to Garmin. I have been trying with no success... Syncmytracks does not work nor fitness sync. Neither will upload to garmin. I am trying to find an apple user to let me install Rungap, but if anyone has any suggestions I would be appreciative
Finally, as an offering of thanks to the forum, I thought I would share the good deal I got. Currently H samuel in the UK has 50% off the epix:

And if you go via top cashback, they will give you another 5% back (before tax):

I paid £374.99 and got £32.80 cashback. So Got the epix from £749.99 to £342.19!!
I hope that helps someone get a bargain!
And thankyou for any help on the above :) :)
