I have a vivo activ 3 calendar shows holidays that have no relevance? Where do these come from?
Have you checked in the default calendar app on your phone?
In apps I only have Google Calendar. In Google there are other accounts, but only 1 has data checked (holidays, events, etc). The weird holidays do not appear on Google Calendar
In the calendar list in Google Calendar there are calendars far down in the list below all accounts: Holidays and Birthdays
Is Holidays unchecked?

See if you can see anything in Google Calendar online: https://calendar.google.com
None of the unwanted holidays showing there.

Check again online in the settings so you haven't hidden any calendars from the list: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0/r/settings
Hidden calendars got an overcrossed eye. I'm not sure how that affects the calendar provider that Garmin use, but better to check.
Do you see your other scheduled events in the calendar?
