Forerunner 955 Solar: Activity not synchronized with Garmin Connect

Today my run activity has not been loaded to Garmin Connect Android app.

I tried to sync many times through the app and the watch.

I also tried to upload manually the fit file in Garmin Connect web app but it failed as well.

I uploaded successfully the same fit file in Strava.

So the fit file is probably not corrupted consequently I guess the upload/sync service is failing.

What was the error message? Can you zip then attach it to this thread so we can see if there is a problem with the fit file?

The message for me is in French but it can be translated as follows:
"An error occurred during the transfer. Try Again."

This is seen as a multi-sport file. Strava will accept it, but as 3 separate activities.

Garmin rejects it as corrupt.

Using Fit File Repair Tool, I merged the 3 sessions into a single 10km run - 2024-03-25-11-49-33-fixed.fit

I tested uploading to Garmin Connect without issues. In Strava, you'll need to first remove the existing sessions, then upload this one, otherwise you'll get a time conflict with the 1.63 km activity.

It is actually a run/track/run multi activity session.

I did this kind of training many times in the past weeks without any issue.

If the file is corrupted, it does not really explain why it was uploaded successfully in Strava the first time with 3 different activities as usual with multi activity session.

Garmin rejects the file as corrupt due to several timestamp records during the track session having distance values not in ascending order.

Again, I ran it through Fit File Repair Tool, allowing the software to automatically fix the file.

Tested uploading to Garmin Connect

Strava can accept the original fit file, as it only cares about the GPS distance values.

I uploaded your fixed file successfully.
I may have a clue regarding this issue.
Indeed during my training session, I accidentally pressed the "undo lap" button.
It may have mess the data?
If so, it means there is a bug fix for Garmin to implement.
