Bluetooth connection doesn't enable audio, only calls

Is this normal it never toggles on " audio" just calls yet when I get a call on Facebook messenger while listening to music it goes to my phone speaker and not Bluetooth earbud nor the watch speaker. Quite annoying. Can Garmin fix this?
