Swim leg of multisport not syncing to strava

Hi all,

Our local TRI club holds week night supersprint triathlons with the swim leg in a pool.

When I sync my forerunner 935 to connect it sends the transitions, bike and run leg to strava but not pool swim.

When I completed a tri recently with an open water swim it synced to strava no problem. Anyone else having this issue. Please help if you know the solution.

There is a workaround you can try.

Open the multisport activity in Garmin Connect Web - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities?activityType=multi_sport

Select swim

Click on the gear icon in the…

Open the multisport activity in Garmin Connect Web - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities?activityType=multi_sport
Select swim

Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner
Select "Export to TCX." You have to use TCX, otherwise the entire multisport activity will be exported and uploaded to Strava
Upload TCX file to Strava - https://www.strava.com/upload/select
After uploading and saving to Strava, edit the activity to change it to "Swim"
